Ceez Access Initiative (CAI)
Arming people with disabilities with the tools and knowledge to seize their independence.
The Ceez Access Initiative is the heart of what Ceez Industries does. Through two distinct programs, we work to remove the two most persistent barriers facing people with physical disabilities — access to essential equipment and access to quality education. Because independence shouldn’t be a privilege.
CAI — Equipment Funding
When insurance says no, we say why not.
Too many people with physical disabilities are living with equipment that doesn’t fit their life — or no equipment at all — because insurance denied coverage or simply wasn’t an option. We exist to change that. Through CAI Equipment Funding, we identify individuals who need assistive devices and purchase that equipment directly on their behalf.
We purchase directly for a reason. For many people with physical disabilities receiving SSI or SSDI benefits, a cash gift — however well-intentioned — can count as income and trigger a loss of benefits. We eliminate that risk entirely by working directly with vendors. You get the equipment. You keep your benefits.
What We Fund
Any device or technology that directly enables physical independence, mobility, communication, or participation in daily life or employment for a person with a physical disability. This includes but is not limited to:
- Wheelchairs and power mobility devices
- Robotic assistive devices
- Adaptive workstation equipment
- Hoyer lifts and track systems
- Specialty beds and positioning equipment
- Communication and voice assistance technology
Awards of up to $100,000 are available annually per recipient. Ceez Industries purchases equipment directly from the vendor and coordinates delivery.
How It Works
Applications are open year-round. Submit whenever your need arises — you don’t have to wait for a window. Applications are reviewed and awards are made on a quarterly cycle, giving us time to ensure funding is in place before making commitments. You’ll be notified of your application status within your current quarter.
If approved, Ceez Industries works with you and your chosen vendor to complete the purchase directly. No cash changes hands.
Recipients are eligible for one award per cycle. A three-year waiting period applies before a second award may be requested.
Ceez Industries reserves the right to determine eligibility and make final funding decisions at its discretion.
How to Apply
We’ll ask you for:
- Your name and contact information
- A brief description of your disability and how it affects your daily life
- The specific device or equipment you need and what it enables you to do
- Documentation of insurance denial or lack of coverage
- A vendor quote or price estimate

CAI — Education Track
Knowledge shouldn’t require a body that fits the classroom.
Inaccessible buildings. Hands-on lab requirements. Courses that assumed you could show up in a certain way. For too many people with physical disabilities, education hasn’t been a matter of ability — it’s been a matter of access. Through our partnership with MasterClass, we provide free annual memberships to individuals who deserve world-class instruction on their own terms.
With a CAI Education Track membership you get full access to everything MasterClass offers — 200+ courses taught by the world’s leading experts across business, writing, arts, music, sports, cooking, and more. Learn at your own pace, on your own schedule, in a format that works for you.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years of age or older, or have parent or guardian supervision. You must have a physical disability. That’s it. We keep this simple on purpose.
How It Works
Seats are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis. When seats are available, approved applicants receive an activation email directly from MasterClass and can begin immediately using their own personal email address — no new account required.
When seats are full, applicants are placed on a waitlist and notified as soon as a seat becomes available. Memberships are renewed annually through our MasterClass grant partnership.
How to Apply
We’ll ask you for:
- Your name and contact information
- A brief description of your disability
- What you hope to learn and why traditional access has been a barrier
