Hello everyone!
We wanted to give you an update on our progress with setting up a donation service for Ceez Industries. As a brand-new nonprofit, we’ve chosen to use Givebutter to accept donations because of its reputation for being easy to use and transparent. Unfortunately, the process has been a bit more complicated than we initially anticipated.
Even though we have been approved by the IRS, we are still waiting for Givebutter to verify us as a nonprofit. This verification requires us to create accounts with both Guidestar.org and Stripe. Setting up the Stripe account was straightforward, and we were already planning on using Stripe for our payment processing, so that part went smoothly. However, we are currently waiting for Guidestar to complete our verification, which is necessary for Givebutter to recognize us as a verified nonprofit.
We know things are moving slower than expected, but we’re making steady progress and that’s what counts! We appreciate your patience and support as we work through these initial hurdles. We’re committed to keeping you informed every step of the way, and we’ll post more updates as things develop.
